Job summary

Aon is seeking an Experienced Associate for Insurance Strategy Consulting in P&C to support strategy engagements with client leaders and project managers in a hybrid Chicago-based role.

You will conduct business and market analyses, develop strategic recommendations, and travel up to 10% as needed to meet client objectives. This role calls for strong communication and data visualization skills within a fast-paced, risk-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, or a closely related field, or a comparable mix of education and pertinent industry experience.
• Experience in consulting, finance, insurance, or a similar business environment is preferred.
• Experience supporting consulting engagements, client workstreams, or strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full lifecycle of client engagements by supporting the delivery of discrete workstreams, central initiatives, and business transformation projects.
• Apply project management and Agile methodology principles to coordinate workstreams, monitor deliverables, manage priorities, and support projects through completion.
• Conduct business analysis to understand client objectives, business requirements, operating models, processes, and performance challenges.
• Conduct data analysis, data management, financial modeling, and data visualization to generate clear and actionable quantitative insights.
• Develop arguments that assess strategic opportunities, potential investments, operating improvements, risks, and anticipated business outcomes.
• Perform market research and subject-matter research, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative analyses, to guide business strategies and client recommendations.
• Review risk management procedures and contribute to the formulation of risk management strategies that match client objectives.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
