Job summary

Sentry Insurance in Edwardsville, IL, or nearby offices, offers a hybrid role in Commercial Insurance Operations. You will respond to information requests, maintain policy data, process documentation, and support renewals and updates, while contributing to process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), experience in commercial lines insurance operations, and strong written and verbal communication with teamwork and organization

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; Associate Degree preferred.
• Experience supporting commercial lines insurance operations preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interact with others and work in a team environment.
• Organizational skills and ability to meet service standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external information requests, including email and phone inquiries. Effectively explain plan details and/or processing requirements
• Document and maintain customer policy information. Gathers necessary data from various sources, reviews data for accuracy and ensures appropriate resolution Ensures data meet company standards for compliance and quality
• Processes and releases policy documentation, such as certificates of insurance, to customers and/or authorized parties; documents all activities in internal systems
• Provide operations support, including processing of new and renewal transactions and policy updates
• Provides general administrative support, which may include, but is not limited to, participating in process improvement projects and quality audits
