Job summary

Texas Life Insurance Company is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the initial setup of new and existing insurance cases before enrollment periods, including contracting and appointing agents. You will maintain agent and employer accounts and provide service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include processing approvals, setting up cases, managing commissions and notices, renewing appointments, and coordinating with departments to ensure enrollment

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required, including Microsoft Office.
• Candidate must communicate efficiently with all individuals verbally and in writing.
• Associate’s degree or minimum two years insurance or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Process preliminary case approvals for new cases and determine re-enrollment eligibility.
• Handle case setup, recognizing differences for each distribution channel and billing.
• Set up agent appointments, execute contracts, and manage terminations per policy.
• Process commission adjustments and voucher requests for agent accounts.
• Mail notifications to agents and corporations regarding accounts and statements.
• Handle invoices related to vendor fees and appointment renewals.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure enrollment capability exists.
• Provide customer service to internal and external individuals via phone, email, or mail.
• Compile information for reporting on case setup and agent reports.
