Job summary

ManhattanLife Insurance & Annuity Company seeks a Product Implementation Specialist to support the rollout of new insurance products. You will interpret policy provisions, set up forms, and maintain premium/benefit tables while querying our database. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

The role is full-time in Houston, with opportunities to collaborate across departments, travel modestly, and contribute to process improvements in a growing operation.

Qualifications

• In lieu of prior insurance experience, a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance or similar will be considered.
• At least two years of prior professional experience working with New Business, Policyholder Services, and/or Claims preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• High proficiency with using Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the life cycle of an insurance application to ensure any related business processes run smoothly.
• Learn the different components of our administration system, that relate to product implementation.
• Establish and maintain quality standards when making product and/or system changes.
• Identify operational requirements for a product and develop processes and procedures to streamline departmental procedures.
• Partner with other team members to review and test different programs and applications to ensure all contractual, regulatory, and procedural requirements are met.
