Job summary

AssetMark in Chicago, IL is seeking an Instructional Designer for the Sales Training Team. You will design learning resources to help the Sales Team excel and prepare for career advancement, partnering with leaders to address learning needs.

This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule in our Chicago, IL office and opportunities to influence training programs using a variety of formats and tools such as Absorb LMS and Seismic CMS.

Qualifications

• Experience designing learning materials across multiple delivery formats.
• Familiar with ADDIE and Kirkpatrick evaluation methodologies.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and eLearning tools.
• Financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to collect, analyze, and translate information into course content aligned to learning objectives.
• Design and develop learning materials in instructor-led, on-demand, and workshop formats.
• Recommend changes to courses to better fit delivery options.
• Stay current with instructional technologies and propose improvements.
• Provide scalable resources to support sales training and development.
• Participate in creating and implementing new training programs and initiatives.
• Gather feedback and drive improvements with Sales Leaders and partners.
• Manage end-to-end design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training curricula.
• Create training for face-to-face, virtual, and on-demand delivery, using innovative approaches.
• Promote peer-to-peer sales training and knowledge sharing via LMS and Slack.
• Develop scalable resources to address coaching needs and assessments.
• Support LMS content management in Absorb, Seismic, and Yoodli.
