Job summary

AssetMark is hiring an Instructional Designer for its Sales Training Team in Chicago, IL, with a hybrid work schedule. You will design learning resources to help the sales team excel, collaborate with leaders, and deliver programs across multiple delivery methods.

The role requires 1–2 years in instructional design, experience with LMS and authoring tools like Articulate 360, and a Finance Services background is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Education, Curriculum Design, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of instructional design or training creation and facilitation experience.
• Experience with multiple delivery channels (eLearning, blended, in-person, on-demand).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems is preferred.
• Experience in Sales Training is preferred.
• 2 years of Financial Services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to translate processes into learning objectives and course content.
• Design and develop materials for instructor-led, on-demand, and virtual delivery.
• Recommend changes to existing courses for various delivery options.
• Stay current with instructional technologies and propose improvements.
• Provide scalable resources to support sales training and development.
• Participate in creating and implementing new training programs and initiatives.
• Gather feedback and drive improvements with Sales Leaders and stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training curricula.
• Promote peer-to-peer training and knowledge sharing via LMS and collaboration tools.
• Develop scalable training resources addressing coaching needs and skill assessments.
