Job summary

System One, including Mountain Ltd., is seeking an Instructional Designer in Pensacola, FL for a contract role blending onsite and remote work. Responsibilities include designing courses, evaluating learning outcomes, and developing multimedia training materials to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and strong knowledge of instructional theories, with experience in LMS environments and both ILT and VILT delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, business, communication, behavioral sciences, training development or related field
• Ability to adapt to fluctuating work-flow
• Experience evaluating course effectiveness and delivery methods
• Experience researching/writing course content and developing tech-driven products
• Advanced knowledge of instructional theories and educational psychology
• Working knowledge of instructional design for products, processes or skills
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with multimedia training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Advise trainers on course evaluation results and assist in leading.
• Plan and design courses and curricula, ensuring content accuracy and multimedia elements.
• Conduct needs assessments to provide customized training and improve performance.
• Create and edit LMS learning activities and set up trainings in LMS.
• Develop and test course content, training games, and graphics.
• Develop content for classroom, online, and independent learning programs that change behavior.
