Job summary

Scholastic Education Division is seeking Inside Sales Representatives in Hoffman Estates, IL to sell classroom magazines. This full-time, hourly role offers a base of $22 per hour plus commission, with hybrid work options.

You will manage school and district accounts, build relationships with educators and leaders, conduct needs assessments, and demonstrate products online to drive literacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM or web-based tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory accounts to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Build relationships with educators, principals, and district leaders.
• Assess needs and align Magazines+ with curriculum standards.
• Upsell and cross-sell titles to generate new business.
• Host online demonstrations and implementation webinars.
• Know product lines to recommend suitable magazines.
• Stay informed on education trends and district initiatives.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Meet activity, lead generation and pipeline targets.
