Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in Melville, NY is hiring an Inside Sales & Sales Support Associate to back up Outside Sales Representatives and grow key accounts. You will manage daily customer needs, assist with onboarding, and analyze profitability data to uncover growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, data analysis skills, and a customer-centric mindset, with 10-key data entry experience and bilingual abilities a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required (college coursework a plus).
• Experience in foodservice distribution, inside sales, customer service, or sales support preferred.
• Data analysis and profitability metrics experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support 2–4 Outside Sales Representatives as primary contact for assigned customers.
• Assist with new account setup, onboarding, and ongoing account maintenance.
• Manage customer orders, add-ons, credits, adjustments, and special requests.
• Communicate stock updates, substitutions, and order changes to customers and sales reps.
• Review orders for accuracy and completeness; ensure pricing accuracy.
