Job summary

Forbes is seeking a Manager, Infrastructure to lead the corporate technology infrastructure for a remote and hybrid workforce. The role manages one junior engineer and owns identity, email, endpoint, cloud, and core enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in corporate IT with 2+ years of people management, and strong experience with Okta, Entra ID, AD, M365, Exchange Online, and security tooling. This hybrid role includes Jersey City HQ presence.

Qualifications

8+ years in Corporate IT, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
2+ years of prior people management experience.
Proven experience managing identity platforms: Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.
Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Google Workspace.
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
Experience with endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Jamf Pro across Windows and macOS.
Strong background in email security and authentication (Mimecast/Proofpoint; SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
Solid understanding of endpoint security tooling (CrowdStrike).

Responsibilities

Train, develop, and performance-manage one junior infrastructure engineer with goals and feedback.
Set priorities, assign work, balance daily operations with long-term projects.
Provide technical guidance and be the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
Build and maintain team standards, runbooks, and documentation.
Partner with HR, Legal, and others on email/access matters, holds, eDiscovery, and offboarding.
Own identity and access management across Okta, Entra ID, and AD; lifecycle, MFA, SSO, groups.
