Job summary

Lighthouse Technology Services, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure & Automation Engineer for a 12-18 month contract in Buffalo, NY. The role offers hybrid work arrangement and will be a W2 position with Lighthouse Technology Services.

You will build, automate, and secure enterprise infrastructure across Linux and Windows environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines and IaC, while optimizing performance and ensuring business continuity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/SUSE) and Windows Server.
• Hands-on scripting with PowerShell, Python, and Bash for automation.
• Experience with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise Linux and Windows server infrastructure, including virtualization.
• Develop automation solutions to streamline deployments and configurations.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and ARM templates.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP and identity management.
• Implement and maintain endpoint security and system hardening standards.
• Monitor system performance with Kibana, ELK, Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Perform server provisioning, patching, certificate management and lifecycle ops.
• Configure storage, backups and disaster recovery for business continuity.
• Conduct incident response and root-cause analysis.
