Job summary

RoadSync is building a cutting-edge fintech-enabled platform to streamline logistics payments across warehouses, carriers, brokers, and repair/tow operators. We are expanding our Engineering team and adopting AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and drive innovation.

The role focuses on owning AWS infrastructure, developer experience, and CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with a security-minded, audit-ready culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing production-grade AWS environments with infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Strong Docker fundamentals with optimized images and CI consistency.
• Infrastructure-as-code in Terraform or AWS CDK with scalable patterns across environments.
• Expertise in architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience operating within SOC 2 or PCI DSS frameworks with audit evidence handling.
• Experience with Vanta for audit documentation and evidence gathering.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and collaboration patterns.
• Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows for code review, refactoring, testing, or documentation.
• Experience with APIs using Golang, Python, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases and transactional software.
• Serverless development on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Understanding of loose coupling and scalable architectures.
• US citizenship or valid work visa.

Responsibilities

• Own our AWS footprint and the code that defines it, and ensure infrastructure is production-ready via PRs rather than ad-hoc changes.
• Own the local development experience with dev containers and Compose mirroring production.
• Own GitLab pipelines and runners: optimize build times, caching, and pipeline trust.
• Turn monitoring into insights that explain why incidents happened and reduce alerts.
• Leverage Claude Code and AI-driven development workflows across feature design, implementation, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
