Qualifications

• Experience managing production-grade AWS environments with compute, networking, and storage.
• Strong Docker fundamentals, multi-stage builds, caching, and CI/CD image parity.
• Fluency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or AWS CDK) and scalable patterns.
• Expertise architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience operating within SOC 2 or PCI DSS frameworks with audit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own our AWS footprint and the code that defines it; ensure it is merge-request ready.
• Own the local development experience with dev containers and Compose that mirror production.
• Own GitLab pipelines and runners; optimize build times and caching.
• Turn monitoring into actionable insights with meaningful alerts.
• Leverage Claude Code and AI-assisted workflows across design, implementation, refactor, test generation, and documentation.
