Job summary

ING Americas is seeking an Information Security Engineer within Wholesale Banking CISO/ISM to oversee IAM and cyber risk governance in a hybrid New York environment. The role focuses on risk assessment, control effectiveness, and regulatory compliance across the enterprise, partnering with risk, compliance, audit, and IT teams to drive secure outcomes.

You will contribute to security programs, metrics, and governance while supporting enterprise AI governance and technology transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in Information Security, Risk Management, Identity and Access Management, Cyber compliance, IT Audit, Dev Sec Ops, Frontier AI.
• CISM certification and Certified in Cyber Security (CC by ISC2), highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Identity Access Management and cyber risk management.
• Ensure control effectiveness and regulatory compliance across the organization.
• Develop governance dashboards, risk metrics, and reporting for senior management.
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal and Business stakeholders to drive security outcomes.
• Promote a strong security culture and alignment with ING risk appetite.
