Job summary

Itron, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeks a Sr Manager Information Security to lead security architecture, risk remediation, threat intelligence, and control design across enterprise and product environments. This hands-on leadership role requires deep technical skills and strong management abilities.

You will mentor a team of information security professionals, collaborate with IT, DevOps, and vendors, define strategy and roadmaps, and drive vulnerability management, governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in information security, with 4+ years leading security personnel
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 or NIST frameworks and controls
• Hands-on experience with security tooling and architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture, risk remediation, control design, and roadmap development.
• Collaborate with IS, IT, Global Managed Services, DevOps, and other teams to implement security solutions.
• Define strategy and roadmap for the organization and ensure governance.
• Oversee vulnerability management program and compliance monitoring.
• Mentor and develop a team of security professionals and drive an agile culture.
