Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Information Security leader to head security architecture, risk remediation, and control design across enterprise and product environments. This hands-on management role requires strong technical depth and people leadership.

You will mentor a team, partner with IT, DevOps, and governance committees, and drive vulnerability management and AI governance security requirements while delivering secure, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security engineering or leadership roles
• 4+ years managing information security personnel
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 or NIST standards
• Security concepts across networks, infra, ops, databases, OS, apps
• Hands-on with security tools and technologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture, risk remediation, and control design.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and vendors to implement security solutions.
• Define strategy and roadmap for the information security program.
• Lead vulnerability management and incident response improvements.
• Translate threat intel into actionable security requirements.
• Ensure documented security controls procedures are followed.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing security team.
