Job summary

Katten is seeking an Information Security Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to security events across the firm, improving threat detection, incident response, and data protection capabilities. The role reports to the Information Security Manager and requires strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Hybrid work is available, with a possibility to work on-site or remotely, including regular flexibility under KattenFlex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or incident response preferred.
• Security+, GCIH or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security logs and correlate data to identify suspicious activity.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to detect indicators of compromise.
• Investigate DLP, endpoint, XDR/EDR, and Zscaler alerts and document findings.
