Job summary

Katten offers a hybrid work model and seeks an Information Security Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to security events across the organization, strengthening threat detection and data protection.

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the analyst will independently investigate concerns, coordinate with IT and business stakeholders, and help develop detection rules, alerts, and response processes while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–4 years in cybersecurity or security operations.
• Experience investigating security alerts and incidents; relevant certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with SIEM/XDR, endpoint security, DLP, and associated platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security logs and correlate data to identify suspicious activity.
• Threat hunting and identifying indicators of compromise before incidents develop.
• Investigate DLP, endpoint, XDR/EDR, and Zscaler alerts; document findings.
• Support incident response: evidence collection, containment, remediation, and review.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on risk mitigation and detections.
