Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking an Information Security Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to security events across the firm. The role supports threat detection, incident response, and data protection while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.

A hybrid work model is available, with offices including Charlotte, Chicago, and New York. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in cybersecurity, experience with SIEM/XDR/EDR, DLP, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field with 2–4 years in security.
• Experience investigating security alerts and incidents.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, network security.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security logs to identify suspicious activity.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and indicators of compromise.
• Investigate DLP, EDR, XDR, and Zscaler alerts; document findings.
• Support incident response including containment and remediation.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders on risk mitigation.
• Develop detection rules and monitoring processes.
• Stay aware of emerging threats and attack techniques.
