Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a talented Industrial Designer to join our award-winning enterprise design team. In this role, you will research, develop, and execute strategic design solutions that optimize the function, ergonomics, value, and appearance of physical products and systems.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and visualization tools (KeyShot).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of design principles, theories, and manufacturing methods.
• Demonstrated ability in form ideation, sketching, prototyping, and model development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Portfolio of work with a link to professional portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design portions of industrial solutions for hardware products and systems based on established design principles, strategy, and guidelines.
• Translate ideas and design concepts into project artifacts including sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and digital models.
• Develop and implement design specifications and reusable design elements for new and existing products.
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design direction and validate solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and outsourced development partners on design development and implementation.
• Participate as a team member on cross-disciplinary projects to develop holistic design solutions.
• Communicate design proposals, specifications, and data effectively to stakeholders.
