Job summary

FreedomCare is seeking a Manager of Operations for Indiana Medicaid services. This hybrid role requires leading both clinical and non-clinical teams, ensuring compliant, person-centered care, and coordinating with compliance, finance, and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in healthcare or Medicaid operations, with leadership experience.
• Experience with Medicaid home- and community-based services or managed care.
• Experience interpreting regs, provider manuals, contracts, and audit requirements.
• Ability to lead clinical and non-clinical teams and collaborate with compliance, finance, and IT.
• Business development, referrals, or healthcare marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable operational leader for the assigned Medicaid program.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable statutes, regs, manuals, contracts.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement required changes promptly.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state requirements and privacy/security rules.
• Develop and update program policies, SOPs, and training materials.
• Oversee end-to-end Medicaid workflows from referral to discharge as applicable.
• Ensure services align with authorizations and person-centered plans.
• Oversee risk management, incident handling, complaints, and escalation.
