Job summary

Northmarq seeks an Accountant, Incentive Compensation to join the Finance & Accounting team at its Bloomington, MN headquarters. You will calculate incentives across multiple plans, reconcile schedules, and ensure accurate accruals and expense entries, partnering with HR and Business Operations to resolve payroll and plan questions.

This role supports a flexible schedule that prioritizes in-office teamwork, with remote work when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Understanding of commercial real estate and mortgage banking preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive problem solver with good communication.
• Ability to work with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Calculate incentives for multiple business lines and compensation plans.
• Read and interpret plan documents; document key data points.
• Record accurate accruals and expense entries in line with policies.
• Reconcile supporting schedules and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with HR and Business Operations to resolve payroll inquiries.
• Process payroll and bonus related wires.
• Review processes for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with the F&A team.
