Northmarq in Bloomington, MN seeks an Accountant to support accurate cash activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and system integrations across Salesforce and ERP platforms. The ideal candidate blends Excel expertise with initiative and attention to detail.

The role requires U.S. GAAP knowledge, ability to work in a multi-entity environment, and a drive to improve processes while supporting the broader accounting team. Some remote work may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, or cash activity
• Experience with Netsuite or Dynamics GP preferred
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Real estate/mortgage banking exposure is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsabilités

• Maintain understanding of automated processes and journal entry production
• Prepare and record journal entries per U.S. GAAP
• Understand ERP processes for cash and deal activity and use macros/ODBC
• Review Salesforce-to-ERP reconcilations and investigate variances
• Reconcile bank accounts and meet month-end close deadlines
• Research and resolve variances and coordinate with partners
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Communicate clearly about transactions and follow-up
• Perform additional related duties as assigned
