Grainger, Inc. is hiring full-time, inbound Customer Service Representatives in Janesville, WI. The role involves handling a high volume of inbound customer calls, navigating multiple systems, assisting with orders, pricing, and returns, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Training is provided onsite for 8 weeks, with a transition to a flexible hybrid work model after training. The position starts with an 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; high-volume inbound call center experience preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and handle fast-paced environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with CRM systems and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls delivering quality customer service with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
• Navigate multiple screens, software programs, and databases to resolve inquiries.
• Assist customers with order placement, product information, pricing, invoicing discrepancies, credits, and returns.
• Problem-solve independently using critical thinking and available resources to deliver fast, accurate resolutions.
• Collaborate in a team-based environment managing time-sensitive issues with attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly via phone and written messages.
