Schnuck Markets, Inc. seeks a paralegal/Legal Operations Specialist to drive the in-house legal department’s data-management and administrative workflows. The role supports complex litigation management, e-discovery, court filings, and optimization of digital platforms while controlling outside counsel costs.

Four days in office for up to six months, then a blend of three days in office and two days remote from St. Louis, MO.

Competenze

• Associates degree required; 5–8 years paralegal experience or certificate.
• Experience supporting civil litigation or workers' compensation matters.
• Strong knowledge of legal proceedings, e-discovery, and document management.

Mansioni

• Direct discovery for civil and workers' compensation cases, drafting requests and responses, monitoring deadlines, and indexing documents.
• Retrieve and manage medical records, issue subpoenas, summarize records, and maintain digital systems.
• Serve as primary liaison for witnesses, store employees, experts, court personnel, and external affairs communications.
• Index deposition transcripts, organize data sets, draft corporate resolutions, and prepare witness outlines.
• Manage e-discovery workflows and liaise between Legal and IT departments.
• Issue litigation holds, gather internal e-discovery materials, and export data for third parties.
• File documents across required state and federal e-filing systems; redact sensitive data.
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and routine templates; conduct legal research.
• Coordinate scheduling, notices, and court appearances; maintain litigation files and dashboards.
• Oversee document and data management, subpoenas, and internal requests; support Notary/administrative duties.
• Leverage Google Workspace and AI tools to streamline workflows; maintain digital dashboards.
• Administer CounselLink for reporting and outside-counsel billing; track performance metrics.
