Job summary

Schnucks (St. Louis) seeks an experienced paralegal to serve as a key operating and data-management engine for the in-house legal department. You will manage complex civil litigation workflows, direct discovery, and handle medical records and e-discovery under counsel supervision.

This role combines document drafting, court filings across state and federal systems, data dashboards, and collaboration with IT and outside counsel to optimize legal operations and reduce external costs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Paralegal certificate preferred.
• 5–8 years of paralegal experience or a recognized certificate.
• 3–5 years in civil litigation or workers' comp paralegal roles.
• Strong knowledge of e-filing, discovery, and legal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct civil and workers' compensation discovery, draft requests and responses.
• Manage medical records, subpoenas, and digital systems.
• Support e-discovery workflows and litigation holds.
• File pleadings, conduct legal research, and update dashboards.
