Jobot is seeking a Hybrid Import Specialist to manage ocean and air shipments from origin to final destinations, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation in a global freight-forwarding environment.

You will coordinate full-cycle imports, communicate with carriers and customs brokers, and maintain records in the internal system. The role offers a base salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year plus bonus and comprehensive benefits, with a collaborative culture and room to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Delivery on time per customer's request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean and air import shipments from origin country to final destinations
• Prepare and review import documentation for Import customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system
