Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a Business Analyst to support life & annuity illustration systems, contributing to testing, requirements, and issue resolution. You will help ensure accuracy in UAT, collaborate across teams, and assist with UI and integration requirements under the Senior Illustration Systems Analyst.

The role emphasizes a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment, with a hybrid onsite schedule in Addison, TX, three core days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative problem solver who embraces emerging technologies and innovative approaches to improve quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine detailed test strategies, build test cases, create traceability matrices, and define expected results in collaboration with the team.
• Execute test cases as part of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identifying and documenting defects to support system accuracy.
• Monitor and manage system defects and enhancements utilizing issue tracking tools, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Support the development of business requirements for UI, System Integrations, NAIC-compliant illustrations, and other projects by gathering information and assisting senior analysts in documentation.
• Contribute to improving the illustration testing processes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues with illustration systems, escalating more complex challenges to senior team members as needed.
