Job summary

Ameritas is seeking an outstanding communicator to drive business by creating illustrations for in-force life insurance products. You will provide information to customers via written correspondence, calls, and personal contact, advising on which illustrations to order and how to adjust contracts to meet goals.

The role requires independence and strong organizational skills. Hybrid work is available, with in-office presence in Lincoln, NE or Cincinnati, OH, and remote work from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience required.
• 1-3 years of related experience required.
• Life insurance or financial services industry experience highly desired.
• Must obtain SIE and Series 99 or Series 6 license within 12 months of employment, if not already held.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately create in-force illustrations for a wide range of products and administer multiple systems.
• Communicate with agents, clients, and Home Office staff via written correspondence, phone, and personal contact.
• Exceed customer expectations with courtesy and responsiveness, and keep commitments.
• Maintain understanding of policy-related documents and the tax implications of adjustments to in-force contracts.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting the role and company policies.
