Job summary

Charles Schwab in Cybersecurity Services (SCS), IAM, seeks a QA Staff Engineer focused on performance testing within large IAM platforms. You will define test strategies, automate tests, and perform functional and regression testing across provisioning, directory services, SSO, and analytics.

You will work in an Agile team, collaborate across business lines, participate in design reviews, and report QA status to management. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related degree.
• 6-8 years of QA experience for enterprise applications incl. functional and automated testing.
• 6+ years of performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner (script development, maintenance, execution).
• 2-4 years scripting with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting language.
• Direct experience with IAM or cybersecurity technologies preferred.
• Strong data analytical ability.
• Experience with SQL, Java, C#, and Oracle.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience using JIRA and other collaboration tools.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• Self-starter; able to work independently.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented; flexible with multiple domains.
• CISSP or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance testing of platforms and applications.
• Review performance results across environments.
• Develop and maintain QA test plans and risk-based testing.
• Troubleshoot test issues, record results, track defects, participate in readiness and release.
• Run and create automation scripts and report results.
• Coordinate with QA domain leads for testing activities.
• Consult with business partners for UAT advice and guidance.
