Job summary

Charles Schwab in the Cybersecurity Services group seeks a QA Engineer specializing in performance testing to drive test strategies, automation, and scripting for large IAM platforms including provisioning, authentication, SSO, and analytics.

You will collaborate in an Agile environment, review results, and ensure product readiness across security-related areas. Strong scripting and IAM knowledge preferred; hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6-8 years of QA experience for enterprise applications including functional and automated testing.
• 6+ years in performance testing with tools like JMeter/LoadRunner and script development.
• 2-4 years of scripting experience (PowerShell, Python or similar).
• Direct IAM or cybersecurity technology experience preferred.
• Strong data analytical ability.
• Experience with SQL, Java, C#, Oracle.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with JIRA and other collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance testing of platforms and applications.
• Review performance results across multiple environments.
• Develop and maintain QA test plans and risk-based testing.
• Troubleshoot test issues and track defects; support release readiness.
• Create automation scripts and report test results.
• Coordinate testing activities with QA domains and stakeholders.
• Contribute to design reviews and use-case reviews.
• Direct test automation activities and perform root cause analysis for defects slippages.
