Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in design and release.
• Excellent analytical, communications and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects autonomously.
• Good understanding of major automotive subsystems.
• Proven project management skills and ability to teach others.
• Technical writing ability to create engineering evaluation reports.
• Ability to read, interpret and generate engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with CAD and CAE.

Responsibilities

• Design and release valve body assemblies and related components.
• Collaborate with suppliers and GM plants responsible for final assembly.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Support validation and ensure compliance with GM specs and standards.
• Communicate status and risks to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and coach other engineers and technicians.
