Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill, a leading New England-based engineering firm, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the growing MEP team. You will focus on HVAC design across diverse building projects, with opportunities in plumbing and energy-efficiency.

The role blends technical design with field investigations, collaboration with senior engineers, and hybrid work arrangements with in-office and remote days. 2+ years' HVAC experience preferred; EIT encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 2+ years of HVAC engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit or BIM software preferred.
• Experience with HVAC load calculation software (e.g., Trane TRACE) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC designs for commercial and institutional buildings.
• Create and update drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, coordinating with disciplines.
• Conduct weekly field investigations and site visits.
• Manage design tasks and support senior engineers.
• Prepare calculations, specs, reports, and project documentation.
