Job summary

Staff Perm is hiring a Commercial HVAC Estimator in Irving, TX, to review plans, select equipment, perform takeoffs, and prepare proposals. The role supports the sales team and requires interpretation of construction drawings. This is a full-time direct-hire position with a mix of onsite and remote work.

Ideal candidates have HVAC experience and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Location is Irving, TX with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3 years HVAC Estimator or 3 years Commercial HVAC technician experience.
• Strong math, analytical thinking, and accuracy in bid work.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs to prepare quotes and estimates.
• Analyze construction processes and documents to meet project requirements.
• Support sales engineers with equipment selections and value options.
• Enter customer and product data into systems with accuracy.
• Provide pricing and product information to internal teams and customers.
• Communicate daily with team members and vendors; limited external contact.
• Use pricing tools to prepare bids and proposals.
• Handle project administration including orders and documentation.
• Maintain professional customer service while managing deadlines.
