Teksky LLC in Pine Brook, New Jersey, is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will contribute to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design for building projects, applying strong technical skills in design, drafting, and calculations.

The ideal candidate has a degree in mechanical engineering, 3+ years in HVAC system design, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and familiarity with NY/NJ codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC system design, drafting, or building systems engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems in building construction environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit.
• Familiarity with New York and New Jersey building codes, construction standards, and regulations.
• EIT certification or progress toward EIT/PE licensure preferred.
• Must have work authorization accepted for this position.

Responsabilités

• Prepare mechanical engineering design reports, calculations, equipment sizing, layouts, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Assist senior engineers with feasibility studies, condition assessments, life cycle assessments (LCA), and MEP design development.
• Develop conceptual designs and detailed mechanical systems for building projects.
• Conduct site visits and existing-condition surveys and prepare engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and construction-phase coordination.
• Provide engineering support and follow up on projects during construction.
