Job summary

Engineered Systems & Services in Georgia seeks an intermediate Mechanical Designer/Engineer for HVAC design in government, healthcare, and water facilities. Revit is required; knowledge of plumbing and fire protection helps. Requirements: bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with Engineer-in-Training (FE) and 2+ years of design experience.

In-office work for 12 months, then four days on-site and one remote day per week. Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (FE) licensure.
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems and related components for projects; plumbing and fire protection knowledge is a plus.
• Develop reports and narratives for preliminary design submittals, evaluations and troubleshooting.
• Perform Construction Administration for projects under construction: review submittals, respond to RFIs, and conduct periodic site visits.
