SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead HV substation or battery energy storage commissioning across multiple projects. You will own scope, schedule, resources, and risk, coordinating with customers, utilities, OEMs and partners from planning through energization and turnover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery experience for utility-scale facilities.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage scope, schedule, and cost.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to document decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own HV or BESS commissioning scope for 2–3 concurrent projects with milestones, schedule, and turnover.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plans, readiness criteria, and resource forecasts.
• Translate contract/technical requirements into executable commissioning work plans.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure safety, quality, and documentation readiness before testing.
• Coordinate field teams, OEMs, and contractors; manage issues and corrective actions.
• Oversee testing: pre-commissioning, functional, protection, and acceptance testing.
