Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager for HV/BESS projects. You will own the commissioning scope across typically 2–3 concurrent projects, driving execution plans, readiness criteria, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful energization and turnover.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing risks, and coordinating with customers, utilities, OEMs, and partners while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery for utility-scale HV facilities.
• Experience coordinating HV substations or BESS commissioning within multi-project environments.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional field teams and manage scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Own the HV/BESS commissioning scope for 2–3 concurrent projects with deliverables and milestones.
• Develop commissioning execution plans, readiness criteria, and resource forecasts.
• Translate contracts, interconnection requirements, and OEM standards into actionable work plans.
• Escalate safety, contractual, or schedule issues and lead corrective actions.
• Provide daily/weekly reporting to commissioning and project leadership.
