Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager - HV/BESS to lead the commissioning scope for high-voltage substation and battery energy storage projects. You will own the plan, schedule, resources, and risk management, coordinating with customers, utilities, OEMs, and field teams.

The role requires on-site work at job sites with hybrid arrangements, and a strong background in commissioning, testing, and turnover of complex electrical facilities. Travel and safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; PMP/CM credentials preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional field teams and managing schedules, risks and costs.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning scope across 2–3 concurrent HV/BESS projects, including milestones and turnover.
• Develop and maintain commissioning execution plans, readiness criteria, and integrated schedules.
• Coordinate development and approval of commissioning plans, tests and acceptance criteria.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure safety, quality, and compliance before energization.
