Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. seeks an HR Business Partner to partner with field managers and employees across multiple dealership locations. The role supports 400+ employees, with roughly 30% travel to 3–5 local sites every 1–2 weeks, based in the Grand Rapids area.

You will lead employee relations, talent development, change management, and team engagement, ensuring compliant, high-performing operations. The position offers a collaborative culture and growth opportunities, with a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience across ER, talent strategy, compensation, and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or equivalent; strong communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage from frontline to executive levels.
• Self-starter with strong investigative and change-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to regional leaders, aligning workforce strategies with business goals.
• Support hiring for managerial roles and build strong workplace relationships across teams.
• Lead employee relations strategies, conduct on-site investigations, and deliver fair solutions.
• Coach managers to sharpen leadership, manage complex personnel situations, develop talent.
• Act as change agent, implementing organizational shifts across sites.
• Collaborate with teams to translate feedback into workplace improvements.
• Oversee risk management, employment law compliance, and agency representation.
• Support customer-focused culture and overall operational performance.
