Job summary

Everest is seeking an HR Project Manager in Warren, NJ to lead a portfolio of strategic HR initiatives and HRIS projects. You will partner with HR, HRIS, IT, Talent, and business leaders to plan, manage, and deliver initiatives that enhance HR operations and employee experiences.

This hands-on, hybrid role requires strong governance, stakeholder collaboration, and change management to support Everest's broader HR transformation agenda and deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, IS, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HR, HR transformation, HRIS, or enterprise tech.
• Experience with HR systems, process improvement, data, reporting, testing, configs; Workday is preferred.
• Strong PM fundamentals: planning, governance, risk & dependency management, delivery.
• Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; capable of senior-leader communications.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with PM tools; Agile or hybrid delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of HR strategic initiatives and HRIS projects from planning through execution.
• Partner with HR, HRIS, IT, People Analytics, Talent, and leaders to translate needs into project plans.
• Coordinate requirements, design discussions, testing, issue resolution, launch readiness, and adoption.
• Drive governance: status, agendas, decisions, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder updates.
• Produce leadership materials: plans, timelines, dashboards, summaries, and recommendations.
• Identify process improvements to simplify work and strengthen employee and manager experience.
• Lead through influence, maintain accountability, and keep teams aligned.
• Support change management: stakeholder engagement, comms, training coordination, readiness, adoption tracking.
