Cahill Contractors LLC, a majority family- and woman-owned general contractor, seeks a Benefits & HR Operations Specialist to own the core HR functions—benefits, compliance, and HRIS tools. Hybrid role in San Francisco with a strong focus on policy, systems, and employee experience.

You'll lead open enrollment, manage benefits vendors, ensure regulatory compliance across multiple cities, and partner with Accounting on 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HR experience with benefits administration, compliance, or HRIS.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Data-driven and proficient in pulling reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own benefits administration, including annual open enrollment and vendor coordination.
• Be the trusted first stop for employees with benefits questions and coverage understanding.
• Support leave programs (FMLA, parental leave, disability) and guide employees through life events.
• Manage relationships with benefits vendors and carriers and ensure service accuracy.
• Benchmark programs against the market and recommend improvements to stay competitive.
• Process benefit changes and support annual filings and program reporting.
• Partner with Accounting on the administration of the 401(k) plan.
