Classifieds24.org is seeking a Human Resources Administrator for a hybrid, temp-to-long-term role in New York. You will manage intake, triage HR inquiries, and support job postings, background checks, and SharePoint maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in HR within higher education or similar shared services, with strong HRIS and Excel/Google Sheets skills and a demonstrated attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

4-6 years in HR higher ed operations, shared services, or higher education administration.
Proficiency with HRIS or enterprise systems; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Proven accuracy and attention to detail; ability to follow established procedures.
Customer service orientation; clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage shared inboxes and action/ticket queues; triage, route, and resolve standard cases within defined SLAs.
Provide first-level response to routine HR questions from campus HR teams.
Job Posting Audit Support: review active postings for compliance and quality; coordinate revisions with campus partners.
Background Verification Support: respond to basic inquiries related to background verification processes.
Content & Site Maintenance: maintain SharePoint sites for HR materials.
