Job summary

Pasado’s Safe Haven seeks an HR Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy management. The role emphasizes employee relations and effective communication, with a focus on confidentiality and tact in handling sensitive information.

The position is full-time, 36 hours per week (four 9-hour days) with a hybrid work arrangement at our sanctuary in Monroe, WA. Starting salary range is $60,320–$64,480 annually, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with discretion and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational and time management with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Office 365 preferred.
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to support recruitment and maintain job descriptions.
• Oversee onboarding, benefits administration, and staff introductions and tours.
• Administer employee development and training opportunities.
• Manage performance management programs and policy administration; oversee offboarding and exit interviews.
• Provide backup for payroll processes and database updates.
