Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR generalist experience with direct payroll experience.
• Experience supporting a warehouse, distribution center, or frontline workforce preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment law (FLSA, ACA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Rippling).
• Strong Excel skills and data comfort.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery each pay cycle.
• Reconcile timekeeping data prior to payroll submission.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll questions, discrepancies, and corrections.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws across multiple states.
• Partner with VP of HR to investigate employee relations issues and support safety initiatives.
• Spend two days a week at the warehouse.
