Job summary

Comtech Industries in Washington, PA is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to own the day-to-day HR function across manufacturing, field operations and corporate teams. You will partner with leaders and employees to deliver practical HR solutions, stay compliant with applicable laws, and maintain organized records.

Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, HR operations, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; 3+ years progressive HR experience, or an Associate's degree with 5+ years progressive HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting for exempt, non-exempt, temporary and field roles.
• Coordinate onboarding, pre-employment screenings and DOT requirements.
• Administer benefits programs and Open Enrollment coordination.
• Manage leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD) and HR compliance reporting.
• Maintain HRIS data, I-9 compliance and personnel files.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and coaching with managers.
• Support talent reviews, training logistics and retention efforts.
• Document HR processes and drive continuous improvement across HR operations.
