Job summary

ContinuServe is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to join a mission-driven nonprofit division in Detroit. This hybrid role covers talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance, with a focus on performance management and employee relations.

You will build strong client relationships, interpret policies, and deliver HR programs across client teams. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive HR experience with employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication with all levels of management.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS/ATS.
• Ability to build relationships across client organizations and with multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client engagement teams to execute workflows and HR initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve HR matters, and deliver high-quality projects and reports.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment with Talent Acquisition, including onboarding support.
• Guide onboarding, performance management, development, and leave administration.
• Administer and improve HR processes and systems, including orientation and compliance audits.
• Conduct workplace investigations and resolve complex employee relations issues.
• Support benefits administration, 403(b) plans, open enrollment, and inquiries.
• Prepare and present HR metrics and workforce analytics to clients.
