Job summary

KorTerra, Inc. is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our team in Minnesota. You will own full-cycle recruiting, coordinate onboarding, manage benefits, HR systems, compliance, and employee engagement, working closely with the Director of Human Resources, managers, and staff.

You balance day-to-day administrative duties with strategic initiatives, maintain confidentiality, and help drive a positive, compliant employee experience in a growing software environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related field.
• 3 years of human resources experience.
• Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.
• General knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience with an HRIS (Paylocity preferred).
• Experience using AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting cycle from sourcing to background checks.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training for new hires.
• Manage benefits administration and related vendor interactions.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate routine HR reports.
• Support compliance, policy communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
