Cushing Terrell is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to be the day-to-day HR contact for managers and staff in a hybrid/in-office setting. You will partner with the Senior HR Manager on coaching, development, succession planning, and complex investigations.

You will support performance management, onboarding, and employee relations, and you will pull ADP Workforce Now reports to monitor headcount and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple states and geographies.
• Experience supporting employees across states with multi-state compliance knowledge.
• Knowledge of core HR disciplines: performance management, employee relations, onboarding, and employment law.
• Discretion with confidential information and sound judgment in policy situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with HRIS like ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft 365; Excel for reporting.

Responsabilités

• Serve as first contact for managers and employees; escalate complex matters to Senior HR Manager.
• Support performance management cycle, including goal setting, check-ins, and annual reviews.
• Guide managers on feedback and development conversations and coordinate input for teams.
• Handle routine employee relations with discretion; schedule investigations and document findings.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations on hiring and onboarding; check in with new hires 90 days in.
• Support integration of employees from acquired firms, including Day 1 onboarding and benefits enrollment.
