El Paso County is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to advise leaders across the organization on employee relations, performance management, and HR policy interpretation. The role emphasizes data-informed thinking and proactive risk management to support a positive, accountable work environment.

You will collaborate with departments to align HR operations with business goals, strengthen workplace effectiveness, and drive organizational change initiatives.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years HR experience, with two years in performance management and resolving complex employee relations issues.

Mansioni

• Serve as a strategic resource for Departments and Offices regarding employee relations matters, performance management, recruitment solutions, employee retention, workforce planning, training needs, risk, benefits, and compensation.
• Partner with department and office leadership to understand operational priorities and anticipate workforce needs.
• Maintain knowledge of employment laws and HR policies to ensure compliance and provide guidance to leadership.
• Provide performance management guidance and disciplinary support; develop conflict resolution strategies as needed.
• Monitor metrics and data to identify trends and inform proactive HR strategies.
• Support organizational change initiatives and workforce planning to promote understanding and adoption.
